Slaughter, "Don't give up on me!"
This is somewhat of an apology for the lack of ambition I've had in CS-development, it was never that I wasn't interested I'm just really good at ignoring things that seem overwhelming. CS has a number of great ideas but what I feel we lack is structure. We need to point ourselves in a common direction and set strong goals and objectives. We need to state our mission.
Some troubles we were having were differences in experience and choices in programming languages. Slaughter uses a lot of PHP, which I know little about, and I prefer Cold Fusion.
Though these differences come across as weaknesses I think they should really be strengths, besides Cold Fusion, I also bring strong Object-Oriented programming experience as well as Data Base development and design. So we will work on combining our skills and discover what we are really capable of.
Another issue is lack of communication and the fact that Slaughter and I only see each other about once a year, doesn't make communicating any easier. That and most of my time is taken up by my heavy class schedule and full time job. I haven't actually posted on CS in over a year, I'm horrible at updating people on day to day life.
I've logged in to CS-Project and looked over the current projects, and some of them I'd like to do in Cold Fusion, one of them I actually do plan to do in CF as a term project. I've also finally logged into my mail@CS so I can be reached at prophet @ crazedsanity.com.
On a personal note to Slaughter - Do I even know the other members of the CS team? I recognize only one other name. And as for the "Scavenger" situation, remember "Messiah" was the leading member of the BK team the fell to me and *sigh* I let fall to you.
-That sigh is in recognition that I am no better than them-
But I am planning to make amends, we have a meeting on Nov 14, so pick a good restaurant hopefully with wireless and alcohol and we're gonna get some things accomplished!
